Lee Pritchard
Director

Lee trained at the London School of Mediation and is an accredited and approved Civil, Commercial, and Workplace mediator.

Lee’s approach to mediation can be best described as calm, empathetic and pragmatic, taking the time to understand the emotion behind the parties positions in addition to practical concerns and other tangible and non tangible considerations which tend to reveal themselves during the course of the mediation process.

Drawing on his experience and engaging manner, Lee is able to help his clients move beyond the most onerous of apparent deadlocks by encouraging the parties to be more solution focused during mediation meetings.

Lee enjoys mediating on a diverse range of subjects both civil and commercial matters that include but are not limited topics such as land, shareholder or contract disputes, to those of a more sensitive nature such has wills or inheritance disputes.

Lee has developed a particular interest in workplace and employment disputes. Drawing on his experiences from running his own businesses and having worked for and with SME’s and large organisations, Lee understands the delicate balance of keeping the workforce satisfied and motivated whilst meeting the demands of the organisation. Working closely with business owners, HR professionals and organisational leaders, Lee actively promotes mediation as a cost effective way of resolving disputes at all levels of the business.

When Lee is not mediating he can be found spending time with his family, working with local charities, networking or in his local cinema.

Charlotte Bates BSc (Hons) LLB (Hons)
Director

Charlotte trained with London School of Mediation and is an accredited Civil and Commercial mediator.

Being qualified in both Law and Psychology, Charlotte has a rare mix of skills in her approach to mediation; able to understand the legal complexities and implications of cases quickly, she is also sensitive to the emotional needs of the parties and has an innate ability to ask the questions which get to the true heart of the matter.

Charlotte brings both legal and psychological insight to her mediations, understanding the positions from both sides, and using this to bring people together. Charlotte is patient and works hard with her clients to remove obstacles which maybe standing in the way of progress.

In her legal career Charlotte saw first hand the direct benefits of mediation and the positive effect it can have, not just for clients who are embroiled in disputes, but also for legal representatives, who pride themselves on providing the best quality legal services for their clients. Charlotte is passionate about using mediation as an effective method of resolving disputes, understanding that they can be costly, lengthy, and unpredictable as there can never be a guaranteed outcome in the Court process

When Charlotte is not mediating she can usually be found with her nose in a good book, or out sampling the finest foods Manchester has to offer.
